Spiritual Terms

Drekaire - Living One. Used by spirits towards living fuuglans.

Glavisudrat - A typical lesser spirit of a deceased fuuglan. Usually moves on to the spirit world.

Kenha - Positive energy that is created by living things and light sources, such as stars and the sun.

Rranha - Negative energy that is created by living things and tukran.

Ruksala - A spiritual clan leader, healer, and magic user. Similar to a shaman, they bond with powerful spirits to cast magic.

Treshi - Where the sky meets the sea, horizon. Mostly used by Asu.

Tukrasudrat - Also known as a tukra, which means "lost". A lesser malevolent fuuglan spirit that produces rranha.

Unesudrat - A powerful ancestral spirit, usually benevolent and once respected in life. Can bond with a ruksala with a good heart and requires kenha for magic.

Zreusudrat - A powerful, but evil ancestral spirit. Can bond with a ruksala with a corrupt heart and requires rranha for magic.


Common Expressions

Daru - "You know?" Used at the end of a sentence.

Enthara - "Good luck", "Fair well"

Enthara zu sata. - "Good luck, don't die." Used by Asu to others who go out to sea.

Gavu - "Sorry", "Excuse me"

Iatak - An expression of joy or relief.

Kalagala - An expression of frustration.

Nekaska - "Hello", "Greetings"

Sra kenha draka sek? - "Are you well?"

Sra ludarutaku sek? - "Have you eaten?" Mostly used by Hulesav.

Sra shigaruna dreka. - "You are welcome."

Sra uni duane dreka. - "You are very kind." Used to thank someone.

Sude - "Yes", "Okay". Used as a confirmation.

Zu krasta. - "I don't know.


Intertribal Expressions

Aslauk - A hybrid fuuglan of two tribes. Can be derogatory depending on context.

Shenvrak - A shaming or mocking insult towards one's ancestors, as a descendant.
