Asu have webbed digits, fins on their heads and tails, and a bioluminescent bulb on their tail end, as well as the ends of their ears. Their ears are covered lobes that are highly sensitive to wind, pressure, and temperature, which is useful for weather detection. As semi-aquatic fuglans, they can hold their breath for up to half an hour, allowing them to dive underwater to fish and scavenge the sea floor. Their scales are commonly green and blue with yellow hues.
Their diets normally consists of saltwater fish, shellfish, crustaceans, spices, seaweed, fruit, and other various plants and critters they can manage to find on land.
Asu live either on coastal areas, on lagoons, or on the high seas. They have a penchant for sailing, exploring, and trading, making them favorable allies among other tribes.
Their villages are highly varied from clan to clan, whether floating on the water or settled on a beach, making use of coral, drift wood, bamboo, and hemp rope as materials. Asu are used to hurricane damage and are excellent at quickly building and repairing temporary structures, whether it be boat or house.
Asu clans are not as spiritually involved as the other tribes, but instead base their religion around the celestial bodies, specifically the three moons for magic, and the stars for navigation.
