Also known as grassland fuglans. Rekrrasav are largely nomadic fuglans and travel with the season, following herds of kariags. Sometimes they build semi-permanent settlements made with grass huts, but usually erect yurts made of bamboo, bones, and skins.
Average lifespan: 80 years
Average height: 8 feet (240 cm)
Average weight: 90 lbs (36 kg)
Rekrrasav are long and slender, able to sprint at incredible speeds on all fours. With long legs and necks, they can easily see over the tall grass, and their long tails help them make sharp turns when sprinting. Like desert fuglans, they are diurnal and lack bioluminescence. While they can stand on two legs, they usually prefer to walk on all fours or ride kariag mounts.
Their diet consists mostly of meat, insects, fruit, leafy greens, flowers, and wild tubers. Kariags also make up a large part of their diet. While they do not practice formal agriculture, they do maintain migration routes where they plant wild fruit and other vegetation to harvest at different seasons.
Being nomadic, Rekrrasav tend to collect anything they can carry with them. This includes jewelry such as beads and shells. Kariag mounts are highly valued within clans and may be decorated with jewelry, blankets, and dye coloring.
Rekrrasav technology is suited to maintain a portable lifestyle. Strong but lightweight materials are preferred, such as bone and bamboo, as well as leather and grass textiles. Rough wagons along trails are sometimes utilized, but most possessions are carried on pack kariags.
Most rekrrasav are moderately religious, usually having one active rusala per clan. They often visit gravesites for clan members scattered along migration routes.
