VHulesav have horns on their heads and short spines on their heads and tails. During the wet season, when food is more plentiful, they will put on more fat and burn it off throughout the dry season. Being heavyset is considered a beauty standard for Hulesav. As diurnal fuglans, they have no bioluminescence. Their scales are commonly orange with yellow and red hues.
During the wet season, Hulesav will eat fruit, vegetables, fish, meat, and insects. During the dry season, they will practice intermittent fasting. Spiced, dried, and pickled crops are also eaten during the dry season.
Although some clans have settled near sources of water, many clans still maintain the tradition of a migratory nomadic lifestyle. During the dry season, clans will migrate to other areas where food is more plentiful.
Settler clans build their homes out of sandstone bricks, mud, and hay. Nomadic tribes construct tents made of leather and wool while herding kariags to use for mounts, beasts of burden, wool, meat, and leather.
Clan leaders and elders who were highly respected in life are revered in death as ancestral spirits, while shrines and temples may be built in their honor. Hulesav may pray or carry around an emblem of their ancestral spirit.
